Thanks to those before us, I find myself unable to fully express my true self. However, it’s important to acknowledge that they bravely fought battles, allowing us to occupy the positions we do today. Rather than being a hindrance, their sacrifices have empowered us to surpass our own limitations. We owe a great debt of gratitude to our black history.
